Why electric therapy? According to Dr. Darren Starwynn, “The human body is composed of an intricate network of tissues and cells, all of which are exquisitely responsive to subtle electrical currents. All of our body functions and internal communications are regulated by such impulses, including healing and regenerative processes, and the immune system. Chronic pain and dysfunction is a signal of the failure of some aspect of the body-mind to communicate or process information or energy.”
Acutron technology was first developed in 1988 by Dr. Darren Starwynn and a team of engineers to address the need for highly effective, non-drug, pain management. Acutron Mentor’s remarkable effectiveness is based on its ability to apply specific frequencies, polarities and current levels of electrical energy required for each individual patient condition. The Acutron Mentor’s preset treatment menus make it very easy to select and administer effective treatments. For this and many other reasons, the Acutron Mentor is recognized throughout the world as the leader in non-invasive electro-medical therapy.
If you have spinal stenosis, disk herniation, degenerative disk disease, peripheral neuropathies, neurological disorders, tendinitis, bursitis, rotator cuff injury, emotional problems, depression, anxiety, or stress, Electro-Acupuncture using MicroCurrent-ColorLight therapies will greatly enhance the effects of acupuncture treatment. I strongly recommend that you give it a try. It is only $85 per treatment for the non-insurance discount rate. If you have acupuncture benefits through your health insurance plan it is only your co-payment/co-insurance fee plus $15 to cover the cost of the Acutron Mentor Device, extra time, and knowledge of Electro Therapy.
For electro-pad therapy there is a fee of $15 for the electropads. These pads are reusable for up to approximately 20 treatments and are for individual use (not shared). Excellent for acute pain, subacute, and chronic pain for large regions of the body, such as the hips, knees, shoulders and low back. Excellent with simultaneous exercise and/or myofascial release for rehabilitation after surgery or injuries.
How Light Affects The Body
There is a large and growing body of research that reveals that the cells and molecules that make up our bodies respond directly to both electrical and light energy. Here is a quote from the article Exploring the Biology of Phototherapy by James Oschman, PhD :
“From the biology of the situation, I suggest that the immediate effect of light is on the communications pathways. Specifically, it is proposed that light stimulates the flow of solitons, which are waves of energy and information that travel rapidly through the protein fabric of the body. The flow of solitons opens gates and switches and organizes dynamic living matrix pathways. Cells can then “whisper” to each other using their own languages. These whisperings orchestrate the repair of traumas of all kinds.”
Some Russian researchers have proposed that the protein fabric of the body acts as a fiber-optic system. S. Pankratov projected light on acupuncture points and measured light output from other points along the same meridian, and found that this caused these other points to emit light. He concluded that the meridians are preferential pathways for the transmission of light in the body
It is fascinating that other researchers have determined that protein molecules also transmit subtle electrical signals throughout the body, an activity called semi-conduction. The eastern European researcher Albert Szent-Gyorgyi was the first to point out that the molecular structures of the human body are organized enough to support semi-conduction through passing information along chains of what have been called “liquid crystals”.
Therefore both light energy and subtle electrical energy are transported throughout the body via chains of protein molecules. Our clinical experience confirms that that these two forms of energy stimulation may be administered together, and significantly enhance each other’s effects. http://www.east-westseminars.com/about.php
